Lower Brook House is a 17th Century
Country House nestled in this tranquil village and stands within
an attractive garden by a babbling brook. It will cast its spell
as soon as it comes into vision. Throughout the home you will find
authentic and fascinating antiques, furnishings, bric-a-brac and
decorative details chosen and collected over many years by the
family.
On Spring and Summer days the country cottage gardens are a pleasurable
place to stroll and in which to take morning coffee and afternoon
tea. The gardens are also the source of vegetables grown especially
to compliment the many and varied dishes in the award winning restaurant.
The bedrooms are all en suite including some four poster beds and
are tastefully decorated. Each has fresh fruit, flowers, chocolates,
mineral water and fluffy towelling robes to make your stay as welcoming
and comfortable as possible. Naturally you are welcome to make tea
and coffee in your rooms at any time and there are colour televisions,
teletext and radio if you really want to keep in touch with the outside
world.
Lower Brook House has the benefit of a superb and intimate licensed
restaurant which is well known and frequented by the local community.
Its kitchen is famed for creating culinary delights to tempt the
most discerning gourmet and its cellar is stocked with fine wines
to perfectly compliment your meal.

Arreton Cottage is thought to originate approx 300 years ago and
was formerly the coach house, stable and gardeners cottage. Flexible
accommodation for 2 to 4 people with optional 3rd bedroom for a further
2 people. Full gas central heating and hot water. Wood burning stove
in the sitting/dining room. Many of the walls are exposed Cotswold
stone. Fully fitted, well equipped kitchen. Bathroom with separate
downstairs cloakroom. |
