The Mid-Summer celebration is organised by the Broadway Traders Association for the benefit of the community and is seen as a wonderful opportunity to 'put something back into the village'.. The event has now become established in the yearly Broadway Calendar and will be held, as usual, on the village green this coming Friday. The event will be enjoyed by the local villagers and by the many tourists touring the Cotswolds at this time of year. One American from Chicago and his wife plus two children told Richard Pinder of Windrush Guest House that last year they enjoyed it so much - "a chance to enjoy a wonderful evening with the locals" that he said he would be coming back again this year! Tickets available from most businesses in Broadway
and available on the night |
