Chipping Norton is 14 miles south west of Banbury and is a lively market town where tourism has not had too much of an impact. You will find several antique shops and useful as a base for picking up daily essentials if staying in or nearby.

The Forge at Churchill** is almost 200 years old and was once the village blacksmith‘s. Over the years it has been converted into the warm and comfortable home it is today, while retaining many of the original features. Five rooms are available and all have en-suite baths or showers, while one is equipped with a Jacuzzi bath, three rooms have traditional four-poster beds. All rooms have colour TV & Video, tea and coffee facilities and other amenities to make you feel at home. Free Internet access is available and we have our own off street parking.
The Forge is 2.5 miles southwest of Chipping Norton.

**The Forge offers** bed and breakfast accommodation with a hearty breakfast, which includes a selection of fruit, cereals, juice and traditional cooked full English breakfast with limitless cups of tea or coffee.

**Originally recorded** in the Domesday Book as “Cercelle", the charming village of Churchill offers an ideal point from which to explore the Cotswolds. Oxford, Woodstock (Blenheim Palace), Burford, Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick are all within easy reach.
